I am Yuka who is running Butter Shop and also working as a designer.

Here let me talk about Butter Shop’s history and our vision.

Butter Shop is a small store that I and my partner started in Japan in 2022. I have been posting illustrations on Instagram for a long time, and I started making goods after I received feedback from my followers that they wanted stickers of my illustrations. My washi tapes and postcards have been picked up by many customers so far.

In 2023, when we moved from Japan to the Netherlands, Butter Shop closed temporarily and reopened in the Netherlands in June 2023. I would like to continue to make washi stickers and other items designed with my own illustrations.

 

Our Mission

We want to make your life a little bit better through our products.

Enjoying jounarling with stickers and tapes, writing a letter to someone you care about, hanging up your favorite poster…each one is a small thing, but when you try it, your days will become more fulfilling, and your life becomes cozier.

Each of Butter Shop products is very small ones, such as stickers and letter sets, but we hope that these small items will help to enrich someone's everyday life.

All Butter Shop products are designed by illustrator Yuka Butter with the hope that they will make the someone’s life who holds them in his or her hands cozy.

We hope that people who like journaling, who like writing letters, who like analog, and who like warmth will pick up Butter Shop's products.
